Description:
Plot : Real steel is an action drama film. The movie is inspired by Richard Matheson's short story "Steel". The film is a ride into future where robot boxing is a popular sport due the fact that human boxing is outlawed. This sport becomes hi-tech and expensive, therefore also illegal underground robot boxing is available. The movie revolves around a struggling fighter Charlie who has lost his chance on a title when 2000 pound, 8 feet tall robot took over the boxing arena. Charlie earns his bread by piecing together low-end bots from scrap metal, moving from one underground boxing venue to the next. Meanwhile, with the death of Charlie’s ex-girlfriend he gets the custody of his son and teams up with him to build and train a contender for championship. Somehow, against all odds, Charlie and Max get one last chance to comeback. The lead roles are played by Hugh Jackman & Dakota Goyo. The movie is directed by Shawn Levy.
