Plot : There’s only one place called home. Watch The Smurfs movie and you would feel that there is no better way to have realized it. Director Raja Gosnell uses the 3D technology to bring to the fore, a story that is sweet and simple, yet proves out to be an epitome of bravado. The movie is all about the little blue ‘Smurfs’, who in their attempt to escape from the clutches of the evil-eyed wizard Gargamel, out of nowhere, find themselves in the central park of the Big Apple. Having no clue whatsoever, about how they reached that place, they try to rationalize a way of getting back to their home. As they do it, they must not forget that the wizard is still out to get them and they must give form to their ideas, before he can lay his hands on them. The movie is based on the characters developed by the Belgian Cartoonist, Pierre Culliford. Actors Hank Azaria, George Lopez, Fred Armisen, Anton Yelchin, Sofía Vergara are featuring as lead characters in the film. Well, that’s not the end of the list as Neil Patrick Harris, Jonathan Winters, and Katy Perry has also joined in to complete the cast.
