Plot : They have been enlisted to protect citizens from daily threats, they are the ones patrolling the streets, they are ones that manage peace as the whole city goes to sleep. For a crime thriller movie, one could not have imagined a more intriguing storyline than Blitz. The moment we hear about a killer murdering cops in cold blood, the movie cuts to the protagonist, an oddball, a maverick police officer, Tom Brant. Fresh from handing out a brutal beating, Brant is put on a case where a number of police officers have been found murdered; with no visible motive for the killings! The serial killer starts calling himself ‘The Blitz’, and goes on a murder spree. One on hand, we have an unhinged psychopath; on the other, we have an equally eccentric cop, with a mean streak. These two engage in a twisted game, involving chess like maneuvers; both trying to outthink the other. The chase heats up, as the film gathers pace. As many people are expected to watch Blitz online, there would be no one complaining. It is a movie that delivers a thumping game of cat and mouse. Some good old police work is intertwined with the mystery that surrounds a cop killer. Blitz is a movie that makes splash, as a radically different crime thriller.
