Description:
Plot : Based on a novel by the famous novelist, Michael Connelly, The Lincoln Lawyer details Mickey Haller, and the attorney’s most important case ever. But everything in Mickey’s life takes a downturn, as he takes up the case for the spoilt brat, Louis Roulet. Louis is accused of becoming physically violent with a prostitute, a matter wrongly conceived to be simple by the polished lawyer. All the pieces come together when Mickey and his investigator Frank, notice a common modus operandi in this case and a previous one that Mickey handled. On a hunch, Mickey approaches the accused in the previous case, Jesus. He meets Jesus in the jail and shows him a picture of Louis Roulet. Upon seeing the picture, Jesus shows signs of agitation, as Jesus always proclaimed innocence in his case but admitted to being guilty upon Mickey’s advice. Soon, Mickey and Frank are able to piece all the disjointed clues together and stumble upon a deeper, darker secret about this case. But Frank is found dead under strange circumstances, but not before informing Mickey that he found evidence to free Jesus. Mickey uses his tactics in courtroom to elicit the testimony from the victim, and gets Roulet freed and arrested immediately for the previous case. But Louis is released again and sets out to kill Mickey’s family for revenge. Mickey confronts Louis but instead the fates intervene and everything goes wrong. What follows when things turn from good to bad, is something for you to see!
