Description:
Plot : The Chaperone is the story of a father who’s trying hard to find redemption from his crime-tainted past and get back to his family. The story revolves around Ray Bradstone, portrayed by the popular and hefty WWE wrestler Triple H. The movie begins with Ray being released after serving a jail period of seven years, for having been accused for a bank robbery. Ray is supposedly the best “wheel man” when it comes to robberies. However, now he is determined to reform himself and become a better father and husband. He reads a lot of self-improvement books and aspires to raise himself in the eyes of his wife Lynne and his teenage daughter Sally. Sadly, his hopes go down the drain when he visits them after being freed from jail, and they slam the door on his face. Frustrated from this rejection and tired of trying to fit into a respectable job, Ray finds himself drawn to his old thief buddies. The gang leader Philip Lague convinces Ray to be the van driver for one last bank robbery. Ray agrees initially, but his mind flips at the last minute due to a resurgence of his conscience. He leaves the robbery van stranded and gets on board his daughter’s school bus across the road. He joins them as their chaperone for a museum field trip. The fun begins when Ray accidentally carries the bag, containing the loot’s money with him. Now, both the cops and Philip are after the school bus that’s loaded with money!
