Plot : Roger Michell’s comedy flick ‘Morning Glory’ has been proclaimed as funny and entertaining by the critics. Don’t you want to witness the wit and humor of this character-based comedy? Featuring Rachel McAdams, Harrison Ford and Diane Keaton in the lead, the movie can be considered as a lightweight backstage comedy that is pleasing to the eyes, without much negative satire and sarcasm. When you have seen the Morning Glory video, it centers the aspiring news producer Becky Fuller (McAdams) who gets fired from her job. However, she manages to get a new job as an executive producer in a morning show, ‘DayBreak’, a new and struggling prime-time show against ‘Today Show’. On the very first day of her job, Becky lays-off Colleen Peck’s (Keaton) snobbish co-host on the show, Paul McVee. It is a slapstick comedy that will make you laugh and contemplate over the silly events in the movie. As Becky hires Mike Pomeroy (Ford), a new co-host for Collen, he expresses his interest to do a story that gets a lot of TRPs to the show that is almost on the verge of being killed. The plot is simple, concise and comprehensive without too many sub-plots.
