Description:
Plot : The American horror movie, The Rite, is centered on a disenchanted young American priest. The movie is an inspiration from a true event, which happened with one of the students of exorcist studies. The plot of the movie revolves around skeptical seminary student Michael, who wholeheartedly joins one of the famous schools of exorcism. The real journey of Michael starts, when he visits Rome and meets an eccentric priest, Father Lucas. He is not only a practitioner of exorcism, but teaches others too. Being the keeper of exorcist powers, he introduces Michael to one of the darker sides of his faith. His first encounter with evil spirits takes Michael to a completely different world and he thinks that devils cannot reach holy places. However, his misconception vanishes, when the evil spirits reach even the holiest places on Earth. The movie is an adaptation of a book named ‘The Making of a Modern Exorcist’. Will Michael be able to come out of the clutches of evil spirits? What happens when Father Lucas intervenes?
