Plot : The Tourist is a tale that’s sure to give you a wholesome dose of drama and intrigue, as it takes you through the journey of an American tourist, Frank who goes on an expectedly harmless trip to the land of dreams- Venice. Before he realizes it, he finds himself being gripped into a muddle that he had nothing to do with, as he falls hopelessly in love with a ravishingly beautiful woman, Elise, whom he meets there. Even though they’re there on strikingly dissimilar missions, the manner in which their paths cross is what adds oodles of thrill to The Tourist video. While Frank is in the city to mend his broken heart, Elise is there on a riveting mission that she doesn’t reveal to him until it’s too late. The movie explores the deepest dimensions of love, as a woman who believes she’s merely playing a smart game, finds herself trapped in an unrealized whirlwind romance. The climax of the plot is reached when Frank and Elise are at the receiving end of a cat and mouse game that’s being played with them, out of which, they have to escape together, as a team.
