Plot : Red Hill, an engaging Australian thriller, depicts a picture of country towns not safe for survival, especially for the younger generation. Directed by Patrick Hughes, the film stars Ryan Kwanten, Steve Bisley and Tom E. Lewis. The story surrounds the life of a juvenile police officer Shane Cooper (Ryan Kwanten), who moves to a small country town, Red Hill with his expectant wife Alice to initiate life with a new family. The story unfolds interestingly as the very first day of Shane’s job turns out to be horrendous when Jimmy Conway (Tom E. Lewis), an alleged murderer flees from prison. This thriller showcases the boundaries of Red Hill region of Australia where the ‘Western meets the horror.’ Conway comes back to town to take vengeance for his detained life spent being a prisoner. Thus, we can say that it is a retaliation fiction with gruesome bloodshed and you can view Red Hill video to experience the fear-factor in it. Shot within a period of four weeks, the film sports belligerence and flamboyance in adequate proportions.
